Am I eligible for HomeBuy schemes?
To apply for HomeBuy schemes just fill in our application form and return it to us at the Freepost address below. You can download a copy of the form from this website.
Please make sure you have filled in all the sections and signed the form before sending it in, otherwise we may have to come back to you for more information and it will take longer to give you a decision.
If you need to send supporting documentation, please send copies. Do not send originals as we cannot guarantee their safe return.
Once we receive your complete application, we will assess it to see if you are eligible to go ahead with the HomeBuy products you are interested in. The assessment will take into account your current income and any savings, loans or debts you have, your housing needs and personal circumstances. We look at each application on its own merits and will make a decision within 8 working days.
If you application is approved to proceed, we will pass your details on to the housing associations and other agencies marketing properties under the HomeBuy initiatives. You can look at properties available under NewBuild HomeBuy on the Property Search page on this website. If you have applied for OpenMarket HomeBuy, you should contact the providers directly. If you don't want your details to be used for this purpose, please write to us to let us know when you make your application.
