The government has announced that it intends to create a new affordable homeownership scheme to be called HomeBuy Direct.  The scheme will help people to buy newly built properties with up to 30% equity share.  The scheme is not yet available and we are not taking applications at this stage, so, if you want to buy straightaway, you could consider one of the other schemes already up and running - for details click on HomeBuy Schemes.  Watch this website for further details of HomeBuy Direct as they are announced.
